Sony to release its ultra-compact notebook pc

Sony releases its ultra-compact entry-level notebook pc ‘VGN-P50′ in Japan market, which will be available on June 6.

Running on Windows XP Home Edition OS, the VGN-P50 adopts an 8-inch ultra wide LCD screen with 1m600*768 resolution. Powered by Intel Atom Z520(1.33GHz) processor, it is equipped with 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, and Intel’s US15W chipset.

Other features included two USB 2.0 slots, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, multi-card reader and four hours of battery life.

Measuring 245×120×19.8mm at 626g, it comes with three different colors including Crystal White. Suggested price is around 85,000(JPY).
